Yahoo Buzz- The Buzz Begins

The newest social bookmarking site called Yahoo Buzz opened to the entire public today. Yahoo Buzz began back in February this year, but was only available to sites that had Yahoo syndicated ads in them. Yahoo Buzz is somewhat similar to Digg, for those of you familiar with that service. After you join, you can submit your blog posts and articles and other members will be able to vote on them. Some of the top stories may even appear on the front page of Yahoo, which can tremendously increase the traffic to your blog. I'm curious to know if any of you have joined yet and your thoughts on this latest social media site.

The Importance of Backlinks

Backlinks are very important for those who want to make money blogging or from their website. A backlink is a link from another site to yours. Generally speaking, the more backlinks you have the higher your site will rank in Google. The higher your site ranks in Google, the more exposure and traffic you are likely to get for your blog or website. The more exposure you get, the more likely you are to profit from the money makers you have implemented on your site.

It is also good for the backlinks to be 'relevant' links. This means that it is best when a site links to yours that is relevant to your topic or niche. For example, the best type of backlink for my blog, would be one coming from another site that is about making money online. Backlinks coming from high ranking sites are good to have as well. There are a lot of other factors that determine how your site ranks, but backlinks are definitely an integral part.

Blogger Vs. Wordpress

Two of the main contenders for making a blog are Blogger and Wordpress (Blogger.com and Wordpress.com). You can use both of these blogging platforms to create your own blog for free. I currently use Blogger.com have had very good experiences with using them for my blog. Determination: A Key to Success

With whatever you may want to achieve in life, determination is an important factor in reaching your goals. You may want money, fame, success, love, happiness, your dream job.. whatever it is you desire, it is possible for much of it to come into fruition if you stay determined. There are minor distractions that may come up along your journey. People might talk down your dreams and desires. You may spend too much time procrastinating and worrying that you cannot achieve your goals, instead of believing and taking inspired action towards them. There may be setbacks and road blocks along your way, but keep pushing forward with your eye on your dreams. I believe your wildest dreams can come true, and I hope you do too.

On my journey making money online I have been making money from multiple streams of income such as GPT sites like Cashcrate.com, niche websites, affiliate programs and adsense. Of course I am looking to dabble in many more ways of making money online as time progresses and will be reporting more of what I have learned back to you.
