Finding Your E-book Niche

Now that you are more familiar with what an e-book is, many of you may be interested in writing one of your own, in which case you will need to find your e-book niche. A lot of people sell their e-books for profits, and some people make them available for free to the public. Whichever the case, an e-book is generally about educating people about a topic that they are looking for more information on. Your e-book niche is the topic or specialized market you are focusing on for your e-book.

When you are selecting your e-book niche or 'area of focus' for your e-book it is best to write about a subject that you have knowledge and/or experience with. And if you have passion for the subject as well, that will make it all the better and easier for you. If you are writing about something you are very interested in the words will come out much easier and your passion will shine through to your readers. If you desire to make money from your e-book it is also helpful to have a topic that a good amount of others are looking for information about. If you write about a topic there is not much interest for, then you are not likely to make many sales.

Your e-book length can vary, it all depends on how much information you have to share and want to include. I have seen e-books ranging in length from about 15 pages to a few hundred pages. After you have selected your niche, it's time to start writing! Best of luck on finding your niche.

To help people find their niche, I recommend that you find a niche that no one's in, but are willing to get in to.

In other words, I suggest that you create an entirely new niche in your market.

Not only will it be easier to make a profit since there is no competition, but you'll be the first in that niche, and word about you will spread like wildfire. People will naturally download your book.

Go to your local library and check out Seth Godin's Purple Cow, it's well worth a read, and goes more in depth with this.

Niche ebook is a great idea and the possibilities are unlimited.

Even if we are not good copywriters we can hire people to research and write for us. :)
